As disciples of Jesus we are called to grow in our relationship with God and with each other. There are several ways that you can grow. Community Groups is a great opportunity for growth.

As disciples of Jesus we are called to serve Jesus by serving others. At WSBC we serve those inside and outside of our community of faith.

WHO WE ARE

Winthrop Street Baptist Church is a historic baptist church located at the heart of downtown Taunton. WSBC is a community of people dedicated to following Jesus and sharing the hope found in Him with the people of our city and beyond. We are passionate about the gospel - the good news of God's saving work through the death and resurrection of His Son, Jesus.

Where are you located?

We are at 39 Winthrop Street, Taunton, MA.

We are just off of the Taunton Green on Route 44.

Our service begins at 10:00 AM on Sunday mornings.

Where do I park?

We have parking for you! When you

There are 2 parking areas found off of Winthrop Street and the other off of Cohannet Street.

In the event that parking is full, Bank of America and Allen M. Walker Insurance allow us to use their parking at the corner of Winthrop and High Street.

Is there something for my kids?

Children from birth through 5th grade are welcome to stay in the main sanctuary or they can adventure to our children's area and check-in for a safe and fun time while you are in service.

We have childcare available for infants through preschool, along with space to change and feed those bundles of joy.

For kids K-5 we have Children's Church, which is a fun time of music, games and teaching.

What does a Typical Service Look Like?

We are a relaxed community who enjoy spending time together. We'll start with some songs of praise to the Great LORD we get to serve, then share some announcements (or vice versa). This will be followed by a message from the Bible is relevant and engaging. We are typically expositional (meaning we work through a book of the Bible for a select season). After service we enjoy coffee and getting to hang out together in our cafe area and in the sanctuary.

How do I join a small group?

Sunday morning is not the only place and time for ministry. Small groups, called Community Groups, are vital to our growth as followers of Jesus. Signup to join a Community Group HERE.
